What is a utility NFT?
It is a non‑fungible token that, besides proving ownership of something unique, grants real rights or perks to its holder: event access, warranties, discounts, redemptions or exclusive content. At HyperNifty those utilities are tied to a physical object.
What does it mean for an NFT to be linked to a physical object?
It means the NFT is the digital twin of one specific piece (phygital). The object carries an NFC chip or secure QR that points to its NFT, so scanning it reveals its authenticity, its history and its current owner.
How do you stop someone copying the chip or QR?
The NFC chips we use produce a different cryptographic signature on every read, which cannot be cloned. Verification is checked against the NFT on the blockchain, so a copied chip or QR fails the check.
Which blockchains does HyperNifty run on?
On EVM‑compatible networks, mainly Ethereum and Polygon. We pick the network based on the value of the pieces, the size of the collection and the cost per transaction.
Do my customers need to know about crypto?
No. They can verify an object just by tapping their phone and claim their NFT through a guided flow. People with a wallet can connect it; people without one can start without it.
Who is behind HyperNifty?
HyperNifty is a platform by Sede Blockchain, a Barcelona company specialising in blockchain development, asset tokenization and crypto‑asset custody.
How much does it cost to tokenize a collection?
It depends on the number of pieces, the chip type, the chosen network and the utilities you want to switch on. Tell us about your project in the form and we will send you a tailored proposal.
